We're in the middle of the hottest auction summer we've seen so far, and Rock Posters & Collectibles is adding more fuel to the fire with their July auction! These posters are from modern-day concerts, so if you're looking for something within the last 10 years, this auction is for you.

Coachella 2010 Emek Bone Edition Poster Mint

Coachella is one of the most popular modern day music festivals in the world. The event started in 1999 in Indio, California, where it has been held every year since. Tickets to Coachella are some of the hardest tickets to obtain and sell out very quickly. Past headliners include Radiohead, The Cure, Jay-Z, the Weekend, Beyonce, and more. This is the festival to be seen at in terms of social media as well.

This Emek silkscreen poster is from the 2010 event which had Jay-Z, Muse, and Gorillaz as the headliner acts. This Bone Edition poster was limited to a run of 100 making it a very desirable and hard-to-find poster. As such finding an appropriate price point is hard. This poster is signed and numbered by the artist, Emek, and is number 82 out of 100. Prior Coachella posters from other years sell between $350 - $400, which is what I would expect this poster to also go for. This poster's condition is noted as being mint.

Pearl Jam Telluride 2016 Emek Artist Edition Poster

Artist Emek's silkscreen Pearl Jam poster was released for the Telluride Show in Telluride, Colorado. Pearl Jam performed at The Ride Festival, an annual festival that has been held for several years. During the 2016 show Pearl Jam performed alongside a number of bands, including Cage the Elephant and The Dirty Knobs. This poster captures the spirit of Colorado, and was limited to just 100 pieces.

Much like the Coachella poster, this example is signed and numbered, with a low number of 23 out of 100. The condition is noted as mint. Finding a price point for this example is hard as this is a hard to find poster, but conservatively I could see this item ending at around $350.

The Black Keys Oakland 2014 Chuck Sperry First Edition Poster

This eye catching silkscreen was used for The Black Keys' November 3rd 2014 show, held at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. The stop was during the Turn The World Blue tour, which included stops all over the world. Special guests during this tour included Jake Bugg, St. Vincent, and Cage the Elephant. The Black Keys have used Chuck Sperry art for their posters before, which are some of the most subtle yes beautiful posters I've come across. This first edition silkscreen only had 225 copies made, making this a hard to find poster.

This silkscreen is numbered at 219 out of 225 and signed by Sperry. Examples of this poster have sold for around $420 when offered, which I believe is a fair price for this item. Chuck Sperry prints in general can sell for anywhere between $280 - $2,600, so it is possible this silkscreen could increase in value -- but it may be a while before you see a return on this item. The condition is noted as being in mint.
