Batman #27 Review

by @Ice_pick on Jan 23, 2014

Warning: Not for the faint of heart.Batman gets his butt kicked!

The Good

First,The cover is awesome and is like a movie poster for what is going inside the issue.Batman #27 is the continuing story of Zero Year for Batman which is telling of his New 52 origins. Snyder and Capullo do a masterful job of pacing this book as Batman attempts to escape the Gotham City Police. The book flows as though you are at the movies and you can almost start to wonder how Batman is truly going to escape this time. Also you start to see how and why the relationships between Alfred,Gordon, and Bruce/Batman become so strong in the present DC.

The Not So Good

It had to end...Especially after you see the last page.

The Bottom Line

Batman #27 is great issue and if you enjoy movies like I do you will enjoy the pacing of this issue.I highly recommend picking this issue up and if you haven't picked up any of this run now would be good time to hit the back issue bins.
